Unresolved Questions at The University of Vermont

As many of my friends know, my best friend, Dr Stacey Young, was very poorly treated by the University of Vermont during the past few years. The following links provide information about these events.

I have spent most of 1999 trying to get personnel at UVM to answer some 50 questions of fact regarding their treatment of Stacey. They have refused to answer a single question. They have also refused to answer the questions posed to them by my state legislator, Mr. Edward Paquin. This despite my having physical evidence of forgery and fraud (which I would be happy to share with anyone who asks). Their arrogance is astonishing and depressing.

Their mechanical and repeated stonewalling remind one of "tricky" Dick Nixon ("I am not a crook!"). They are not behaving in the way that innocent parties behave.

In so far as I have been able to determine,

• Veterinarian James Nichols has harassed people for years, and is proud of it. He is a self proclaimed "bully". UVM has done nothing about this situation
• Professor Rik Musty appears to have fudged the costing numbers on an NSF grant which UVM submitted.
• Musty or Chairman Justin Joffee forged Stacey's signature on the above grant.
• When the fraudulent nature of the grant was detected, Musty, Joffe, and Provost Tom Tritton (now President of Haverford College) conspired to hide this fact.
• When the above was discovered, President Judith Ramaley and her legal department have conspired to hide all of the above, refusing to answer any questions whatsoever.
