Snails

Even the lowly snail can be very interesting. Here we see one attached to the glass. The close-up allows us to see the foot and mouth, as well as the raspers within the mouth.

This particular kind of snail has two "feet", and "walks" with them as we do: one moves forward and grabs, and then the other moves forward. There are two similar snails in this picture.

This little snail has a tiny feather duster living at the top of the shell.
