Coral Inflation

Many corals change shape dramatically during the day. The top picture shows three corals: the plate (left), button (center), and tongue (right).

Later in the day, after the lights have induced them to inflate, you can see that they are much larger. A colt coral can be seen at left, two fire fish in the middle, a cleaner shrimp towards the upper right, and a maroon clown in the upper right.
